  SQLite is kind of a magic thing. It's hard to overstate how incredibly valuable and universal it is. This line is buried near the end, but I think it's the most central line of this whole piece. So much of what's happening is just highlighting the existing incompetency of so many companies. So much of the behavior we are seeing is an extension of existing problems. We're just adding a BS machine and too much money to the equation.

  PM Carney gets a lot of flack for decisions, but let's highlight a good one happening now. More support for skilled trades training. Honestly, the target here of 100,000 is probably too low.   @deadDuck@zeroes.ca I wonder if it will be like EVs, where early adopters have been driving hybrid or electric vehicles for decades, and they're really just taking off now with the price of gas At least in North America, EVs haven't really been around for decades. The first Nissan Leaf launched in 2010 or so. The new ones are not really "taking off" so much as "growing steadily". Likely because of more infra to support charging and the influx of well known brands...

  Random thought for the day. If you start a war for no particular reason, then you're not really going to have a reason to end that war.   I'm a fan of the #NBA and LeBron James has just broken the most games played record and there are some crazy stats. Two that really stand out. He has played against 36% of all players in NBA history. He has played against 12 Father & Son duos. And he has even played his own son.
