SQLite is kind of a magic thing. It's hard to overstate how incredibly valuable and universal it is. But in a reminder of that, I opened up two tabs yesterday where people are building new stuff using the tool. @joeycastillo@mastodon.social is building an open e-reader, and features like the built-in dictionaries and the highlighting all run off the local SQLite.@b0rk@social.jvns.ca is building new Django website with SQLite and they have great details about their trials and tribulations of mixing the two I love to see all of this open stuff happening. And thanks to both of these creators for continuing to make stuff. And check out that open e-book project!
