  Landscape With Invisible Hand is brilliant. It's basically a sci-fi exploration of colonialism - aliens have arrived, dominated all of humanity (and, more relevantly to the story, the US), and now the US is a third world backwater with a few floating city-islands where the aliens and some richer humans live. The aliens strip our culture for parts, mimicking the things they like & replacing everything they don't. #movies
