  OMG... @kde@floss.social's Kate (and also KWrite and KDevelop) has a vim input mode and it supports :nnoremap !!! 🤩 This is INSTANTLY a level above VSCode's vim mode!! 🥰 Now if there was a way for KatePart to read a vimrc on load instead of requiring manual file read to get remaps, I could totally write my vimrc to feature check for vim, gvim, AND katepart 😁 My vimrc is split into multiple files, however, so :source support would also be required... 🤔

  Today I just learned that Javascript uses the mantissas of NaNs as its pointers to Object instances (this is perfectly fine and kosher according to IEEE 754, non-zero mantissas are what separate NaN's from Infinities and there is nothing in the standard restricting creative uses of NaN mantissas) and I think I have finally stumbled upon a genuinely cursed bit of Javascript that makes me genuinely uncomfortable. What the fuck was Brendan Eich smoking back in 1995 when he did that!?

  Seeing some Mother's Day celebrations in a few discord servers that I'm in and all it does is serve to remind me that my mother died to alcoholism and I wasn't there or aware enough to realize what she was doing to herself until it was too late. This has not been a heartwarming holiday for me ever since, and probably never will be. 💔 😞

  I've not played Monster Hunter--I can't for accessibility reasons--but a *bunch* of the monsters in that lore hit some extreme Gender™ notes. Shapes that Calyo could be when Calyo wants to savor a bit of scareousal from its' toys and playmates~ From Nargacuga to Rey Dao to Tobi-Kadachi to Malzeno to the Seikrets in MHW. Although the seikrets are more just... really dang pretty and snuggly. Malzeno, however... THAT'S an AESTHETIC. 👌👀💦

  Frustrating. It is not possible, in vanilla game mechanics, to have multi-material train stops that work with dynamic train scheduling in Factorio. I'd have to use a mod like LTN or CyberSyn, and both are notorious for being UPS heavy in megabases and very large savegames. I really like the dynamic dispatching of LTN, but that requires a gobton of combinators to roughly emulate with vanilla mechanics. ... Maybe I should try my paw at creating a mod combinator that handles all the log...
