Seeing some Mother's Day celebrations in a few discord servers that I'm in and all it does is serve to remind me that my mother died to alcoholism and I wasn't there or aware enough to realize what she was doing to herself until it was too late.
This has not been a heartwarming holiday for me ever since, and probably never will be. 💔 😞

It's also the reason I aggressively block ads on YouTube and the like, because the last time I tried to let ads through on YouTube, I got relevant ads right up until it was the week before Mother's Day and then I got 1-800-FLOWERS ads *incessantly* in spite of me telling YouTube to stop showing me those ads. Advertising doesn't give a single flying fuck about your own mental health.
