My son, a grad student, is struggling with the anti-cheating software he has to run in order to take tests online. He contacted their tech support who told him he needed to uninstall McAfee. He has a relatively new laptop running the pre-installed copy of Windows 11 and Windows Defender, not McAfee. I'm going to share a gentle reminder because I had a big scare yesterday. It's about backups. I'll rewind a bit. I currently make backups to external USB hard drives. So, I finally made my first coffee of the day at nearly 11:00. That&#39;s both a good thing and a bad thing. It&#39;s good because it means that I was actually in a flow state this morning getting something done. That&#39;s far too infrequent.
