My son, a grad student, is struggling with the anti-cheating software he has to run in order to take tests online. He contacted their tech support who told him he needed to uninstall McAfee. He has a relatively new laptop running the pre-installed copy of Windows 11 and Windows Defender, not McAfee. If a piece of software is incompatible with that configuration and their tech support misdiagnoses the problem that way, I'm willing to say that it doesn't work on Windows and their tech support is completely incompetent.
