Mini beetroot burgers, sweet and sour carrots and rice with three coloured Furikake. I was going to do a teriyaki glaze on these burgers but I figured it might be too sweet with the beetroot. I have regrets, it ended up a little dry but I have more beetroot burgers in the freezer. #vegan #bento

I’d love to put together a collection of short stories from the perspective of side characters in epic fantasies. What does the guy trying to muck out the horses think? Admittedly this is probably one of those Sunday morning thoughts that goes nowhere.

The video game mechanic I would most like to apply to real life is choosing how long you’re going to stay asleep for.

Currently being emotionally destroyed by the game Consume Me. I thought I was over my late teenage stress by this point in my life but it brought it all back (in a good way)

In my bento box today is Chilled Sesame Soba Salad with Chicken from The Vegan Meat Cookbook. I replaced some of the soba noodles with green tea noodles for extra colour then realised there are lots of colours in this one anyway. #bento #vegan

I keep telling people I have normal interests but I just went to pick up a book I’d ordered and was told it had been in the shop so long they never thought they would sell it.

I’ve fallen in love with Mixtape (on Switch 2) Making me nostalgic for a time when I thought I knew everything and constantly worried I was a poseur. The soundtrack is genuinely amazing, it’s super stylish but what I’m really loving is the sense of humour. The tongue in cheek affection it has for teenage life.

No idea why @katemorley and I can’t sleep in the mornings anymore but it does give us time for extra tea. In this case a beautiful Chinese White Tea.

Their’s and Her’s cozy gaming on a Saturday Morning. I’m on Pokopia, @katemorley is playing Winter Burrow. Odd that the post apocalyptic game is the less depressing one. #pokopia #cozygames

I’m reading Gentian Hill by Elizabeth Goudge because it is set around the local medieval chapel that I’m obsessed with and talks a lot about the legend associated with it. I was expecting that I’d like that part of it. But I’ve also found out a few new dialect words, the rules of Devon Wrestling and that there is/was a healing well in Torquay. Books really do have everything. #bookstodon

Friday I was stuck in traffic by some Bronze Age Barrows and I couldn’t persuade my colleague to be interested. Today we drove past on the way home so I tried again: ‘Look at the bumps, they have dead bodies.’ ‘Cool.’ ‘They’re like boobies but with bodies in.’ ‘Why didn’t you explain it like that on Friday?’ (Nobody needs to point out that this isn’t exactly an accurate description)

Just bumbling around Exeter on my day off. I’m going to poke at some history that I’ve either never seen before or only looked at when I first moved down here (and now can’t remember)
