I’m reading Gentian Hill by Elizabeth Goudge because it is set around the local medieval chapel that I’m obsessed with and talks a lot about the legend associated with it. I was expecting that I’d like that part of it. But I’ve also found out a few new dialect words, the rules of Devon Wrestling and that there is/was a healing well in Torquay. Books really do have everything. #bookstodon
