Friday I was stuck in traffic by some Bronze Age Barrows and I couldn’t persuade my colleague to be interested. Today we drove past on the way home so I tried again: ‘Look at the bumps, they have dead bodies.’ ‘Cool.’ ‘They’re like boobies but with bodies in.’ ‘Why didn’t you explain it like that on Friday?’ (Nobody needs to point out that this isn’t exactly an accurate description)
