I keep telling people I have normal interests but I just went to pick up a book I’d ordered and was told it had been in the shop so long they never thought they would sell it.

@clareburgess@hachyderm.io as my Dearly Departed Dad closed down his jeweller's shop he heavily discounted three cuckoo clocks that had come in for repairs and been fully paid but never collected, from three different customers They hadn't sold in the several years they were on the shelf. Apparently they really were hideous. They did not sell.
