One thing I'll say for Windows (my gaming PC is #Windows11 FWIW), I really dig the per-app volume control. I miss it now on #macOS. I'm in a couple of important discussions in Discord for which I'd like to hear alerts, but that means Messages can also DIIIIING the heckin out of my ears. Yes, I've seen third-party utilities that can do this. I might try one. Do folks have any recommendations? #Apple

On the record, I am still angry at #Apple for allowing a bunch of staunch Mac nerds into the #iPad wing. They utterly decimated the beauty and simplicity of iPad multitasking because "ooh it's too hard to learn and try something new so I just want it to work like a Mac because I hate learning something new." Think different my ass. I thoroughly dislike every individual involved in this travesty. I don’t care who you are, I dislike you. If you want a Mac, buy a goddamn Mac.

Fun #Reddit thread about seemingly unrealistic scenes in #movies (and TV) that turn out to be absolutely true depictions of events IRL. Example: Someone in a grounded TV drama jumps off the third story ledge of a parking garage to avoid a shootout. Gets up and limps away. Fans were pissed at how unrealistic it seemed. New favorite #iPadOS bug: the app switcher is broken in so many ways, and this is even on 26.4. This is a simple short swipe up gesture on the Magic Keyboard trackpad to see recent apps. A gesture I’ve used for years. But it flips out and scrolls back to the very beginning of what the app switcher still has available; apps I haven’t used in months. 😆 #Apple
