Perhaps it’s because we are off a six way intersection but every time I get an Instacart delivery lately it’ll tell me the driver is arriving in ten minutes or six or eight, and a minute later they’re at my door. This is only a problem when like today I think I’ve got enough time to rush to the bathroom before they arrive, only to find them at my door as soon as I sit down. Ordinarily they could just leave it but since there was alcohol of course they couldn’t. It’s just odd because generally th...

This won’t matter to some, but I just learned of a new source for therapy called Grow Therapy. It isn’t like better help or talk space. It is simply a platform to find therapists in your area. You can search by need, gender, type of insurance, location, even modality and type of religion or language spoken including ASL 🧏 Then each therapist has a profile they’re required to build. Lots even take Medicare and Medicaid. I have not met yet with the one I chose, but I’ve been through it on many o...

Mcgpt aka chat gpt, the McDonald’s of AI with its need to inflict its nanny type bs responses on folks might be good for old people who want to be communicated to like they’re an infant but otherwise no. But it is true my folks in their 70s might appreciate it. Thankfully I no longer provide family tech support. lol. https://techopolis.social/@mikedoise/116386859665815719

Be aware this is not a fully remote or work from anywhere position. You must reside in Springfield MA and the position has some onsite requirements. But if you’re in the area this might be a fit for someone. https://mastodon.online/@sapphireangel/116269206357911876

Well good morning. Today was a go to bed after midnight and wake up at 5am kind of day. Yippee! Unsure what’s on tap for the day beyond making chicken curry in the crockpot and preparing for the work week. I hope everyone has a good day.

We have a bird belting its heart out right now. Just one. All the others are hiding. Our weather just went from 70s and rainy to snow flurries. If I were a bird I’d be pretty pissed if I came back here now and it was like this when it’s supposed to be spring. I hope the weather evens out when April comes because March is not fun if you’re someone who experiences migraines and/or fibromyalgia. Anyway, work calls as do my taxes which I need to finish. But at least they’re started. I hope everyon...

Someone we know decided to have the comfort food that is Skyline Chili delivered to us. They sent it over the spaghetti and instructed that I add all the cheese and oyster crackers. It’s like the best tasting cheesy spaghetti that way! There are leftovers along with a Greek salad with chicken in the fridge. Now it is time for better living through chemicals because today has been the day of staring at numbers and tasks in spread sheets and I’m just over all of it.

I know this will not apply to everyone who reads my feed, but if you are allergic, you need to know that the shepherds pie in #Aldi frozen section contains for some unknown reason anchovies. Because of my own allergies and sensitivities I am making groceries and reading lots of labels. As it is a working migraine day thanks to our nasty insane weather, I was in search of something that one of us could just throw in the oven preferably comforting but it will not be that. We don’t have fish allerg...

Okay. So I have a parent of a blind child now in her freshman year of college on my fb page. Mommy shipped her kid off to Florida school for deaf and blind when she was 11 because she was being bullied. So mommy posts about how she’s driving from where she lives in west palm beach to Jacksonville where daughter is in college to clip her toenails and take her grocery shopping. Ps. That’s a long ass drive. So someone on her page is all. Oh those poor blind people who can’t clip their nails. So I h...
