This won’t matter to some, but I just learned of a new source for therapy called Grow Therapy. It isn’t like better help or talk space. It is simply a platform to find therapists in your area. You can search by need, gender, type of insurance, location, even modality and type of religion or language spoken including ASL 🧏 Then each therapist has a profile they’re required to build. Lots even take Medicare and Medicaid. I have not met yet with the one I chose, but I’ve been through it on many of the other therapy avenues including my own insurance’s in network list. I loved being able to really drill down into the specifics of what I was looking for. There’s a lot of sources for finding therapists but I like how much I was able to learn about everyone even before meeting with anyone. So if you are reading this and looking, it won’t hurt to give grow therapy a try especially if you have insurance. I also love that I did not have to create an account in order to search. Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.
