  Nice bit of AI bias today about my pronouns... Was working on some Engineering Manager requirements and got called "he". I challenged it and this was the response: "I do know you're female, and I should have referred to you correctly. I mistakenly defaulted to "he" because I was imagining the engineering manager" #siggggghhhhh

  Helped someone with some PhD research earlier today, and oh boy was that eye opening. We were a focus group questioned about AI use in therapy and wow outside of my tech savvy bubble of clients (&me) that shit sounds TERRIFYING. I mean, it's an absolute clusterfuck of trial and error, privacy invasion, and biased incorrect tooling in the hands of very vulnerable people thinking it's(ai) "smart". I guess I knew that but having it directly discussed in real life case studies...

  Day 10 of this v weird and somewhat mentally debilitating virus. So strange! Starts with sore throat and temp (day 1) moved through classic "staying in bed" flu for 2 days, brain fog like I've never experienced. 2 days of getting a bit better, then a week of chest infection vibes and yesterday could barely breath.   Just turned a client down who treated me and my candidate like shit during a first engagement. 20 years of doing this and saying 'no' to people who recruit disrespectfully still feels fantastic.   I made a perfectly adequate #VEGAN okinomiyaki 🥰 The recipe linked below, but adapted it with miso instead of dashi, aquafava instead of egg (1 chickpea tin worth = 2 eggs ish) and vegan mayo, and no fish flakes. It's not if you're animal has *ever* been treated with a spot on type flea or tick treatment, so I've removed my post and my fur!!   Just discovered part of my HRT has been discontinued due to an AI note taking error. Gynae did not say discontinue, and I have letters to prove it. Now I may have to be without testosterone until this is proven, which may mean another 6 month wait to resee a gynaecologist via NHS. Hopefully my letters will suffice, but currently unclear. I am beyond furious. Also, wow. Fuck living in this dystopia. Keep every medical record you get, you're going to need it in this new terrifying time...
