What are social media posts? • Complaints, many of them. It's a sort of universal complaints/suggestion box. I'm forever sharing my health complaints plus vague dissatisfaction with society. • Bossing. A variant of complaint that barks orders at others, named or unnamed, on exactly how they are to act in order to please poster. These are very popular on fedi. This very post is a subtle version, wishing for less of this type of post. • Content. News, photos, links, poems, idea...

My favorite things to do lately are sleep and imagine details of my solarpunk "better world" story. Even though constant pain makes thinking difficult, and that's frustrating, I still enjoy dreaming of a better world.

Complaints about Nu Trek 🙄 I resumed Strange New Worlds at season 3. There was a time when I thought I could like this one, but it's clear that they aren't making it for me. I made a doctor appointment for Monday & it's with the same ones I used to see who haven't helped much. I'm only going to continue my barely ok prescription because that's better than nothing. Yay for my bad attitude lol. That's the real update. Until recently I was reaching out in all directions, communicating my desperation, in hopes of receiving some help from friends or family. My new feeling is that I only have myself. I get $ help from others...

When "Disenchantment" first came out I remember being disappointed. I think that I wanted it to be more like Simpsons or Futurama, I don't know. I'm different now & I enjoy it. It's sweet & funny. The setting is unusual enough to be interesting. And I no longer enjoy Simpsons or Futurama. Times change. The only shows I'm watching currently are this and Fraggle Rock 🙃. Yes I guess I'm childish but I like funny mixed with sw...

Failure teaches, if you're open & able to learn. Most of those at the pinnacle of power and privilege have not had the opportunity to learn much about the world. And there's an amazing human defense against learning from criticism. Since the privileged often believe that they are personally deserving of their good fortune, they categorize critics as jealous haters who are against them for petty personal reasons. I see this everywhere from media to politics to journalists...
