  When the old search engines were dying, I remember one of the last things to happen with them is that they would no longer support modifiers. Like you know how you put a + or a - in front of a word to force its inclusion in the results? Or "also"? They would just stop recognizing that. And it was always a sign that the search engine was going to die very soon.
