#ScribesAndMakers 8/10 How willing are you to take risks with your creative work? Had to jump in on this, because I just posted an erotica short (and yes, there was more to the story than just sex) where the only word used for dialogue was "Ooga." Your move, everyone.

#EroticMusings Week 64: Share a WIP showing your process that can't be seen in the completed work. I've been working to put together a full novel by (Hyp)November about an older #hypnokink couple that slowly corrupts a younger couple into their bed. So, here's a first draft of the initial induction scene as well as a half-finished sketch I was making for fun/promotion. I usually don't sketch my scenes, but this one seemed too awesome to pass up. #Sketch #eroti...

#EroticMusings 65 Studio: Is your creative space tidy or chaotic? Is that important or just how it is? My creative spaces are a mess. That's not going to change, probably because when I get into creative mode, the last thing I'm thinking about is how tidy the desk is. These priorities are at exact opposite points in my brain. If I know where everything is, it's organized.

#EroticMusings 66 How would your characters feel about the way eroticism is perceived in your own culture? The characters from my current WIP are from my culture (Bumblefuck, USA) and yeah, they'd have a thing or two to say. Both Raul and Diane reject the idea that sex is an isolated activity confined to the bedroom. They revel in incorporating erotic play in every aspect of their lives while cooking, cleaning, or even in public. Easy for them to say since they've decided not...

#ScribesAndMakers 9/9 Share something you worked on this month! So, I've been trying to finish 30 chapters of my hypno-kinky novel by November. This is a bit from ch 8 that I thought came out kinda fun. Raul and his wife are exploring a medical interrogation scene with two subjects who've had their minds wiped. I thought it came out kinda funny. #HypnoKink

#EroticMusings 53: What fields of real-world study inspire you settings? Folklore and mythology are big, and literature (I'm working on a spicy Midsummer Night's Dream story) but I think psychology affects my setting and my stories in general the most. The psychological effect of putting the reader in a dentist's chair as opposed to a massage table can create a very, very different experience, even if the action itself isn't that different.

#EroticMusings 54 Why/when/how did you start making erotica? Wow. This is a story. Well, essentially it's a way to process my fetish. I discovered my hypnosis kink before I really knew what sex was, so for a long time I assumed I was doing something weird and crazy. Then, in college, I discovered mcstories and a trove of mind control erotica and realized I wasn't alone. After a few years, I decided to try my own and got great feedback. Then, I freaked out and stopped writing f...

#EroticMusings 58 — POV (any character): Describe your first time. Diane (Current WIP) My first time with Raul? Oh, it was a revelation! I went to him to deal with my body issues, and he tried to keep it professional, but the tension was there. It was his eyes. His deep brown eyes that tore my mind apart like tissue paper. By the end of our first hypnotherapy session, I showed him just how much more confident I really was with my body. 5 years ago now and no regrets! #hypnokink

#EroticMusings 59 POV Name three erotic things in your bedroom. DIANE: Oh, well, there's my dildos. I have one to get the job done and another that hubby calls my pussy pacifier for when he's not around. Then there's the lava lamp. It's retro, I know! But it's heaven to zone out, watching the pretty shapes, listening to hubby's voice. Then, I have my special perfume for when I want to be in charge. Just a spritz on my clothes and he's my...

Had a great day yesterday and got to lead 2 hypnosis sessions for some very lovely people. A year ago, I don't think I would have ever imagined I'd be confident enough, or even interested in being a 'tist. Turns out, hypno-topping is a lot of fun and I'm turning into much more of a switch than I expected. #hypnokink #hypnosis #kink #HypnoSwitch

So I sketch on the side. I feel this one came out good enough to share. What is it about mass hypnosis that's so powerful? Maybe the hypnotist's power to manipulate a group's trance to subdue each individual, like peer pressure to submit to the hypnotist's control. Anyway, this was fun to draw. #hypnokink #StageHypnosis #MassHypnosis #Sketch #Hypnodomme

#EroticMusings 62 Do power imbalances exist within the relationships between your characters? Power imbalances in hypnosis fetish? Absurd! Right, so it's actually a myth that hypnosis irl needs a power dynamic. There's group trances, tandem trances, self-hypnosis all of which can be done erotically and don't need a power structure. But %99 of the time, we have a very tilted scale of power in hypnokink. Why? Because it's fun to fight and succumb to a powerful, s...

#EroticMusings Week 44 Is your erotica shaped by personal politics/culture? There's an interesting debate in the #hypnokink world about politics and how many (but not all) of us are drawn to the 'evil' hypnotist trope and how, in the context of fantasy, we enjoy it when the villain wins. As a result, it can be oddly titillating when our villains are political opposites of us and most of the hypno people I know do swing politically left. 1/2

I'm currently en route to NEEHU, (erotic hypnosis convention) I cannot explain my emotions right now. I am so incredibly excited, nervous, happy, scared, not to mention sleep-deprived. For most of my life, I've kept my kink a closeted secret never thought I'd ever be able to share it with other people and now I'm headed to a convention full of other people like me. I feel this is the most daring thing I've done emotionally in my adult life. #hypnokin...

#ScribesAndMakers 3/20 Self promotion day! Shame optional Hello! Taking a moment to promote my adult romance, A Trance of You While there are a few erotic scenes, this is a far cry from my usual smutty stuff. Two people learn to accept themselves through their mutual kink. As for shame, I've spent a long time carrying shame for my kinky sexuality. Letting that go was like taking off a backpack of rocks after a ten mile hike. I'm not picking it up ever again. https://books2re...

#EroticMusings Week 20 Why are negative emotions like fear compelling? Does your work use those emotions? My kink revolves around the idea of power play, so fear, in some degree, is crucial. There needs to be an element of danger to balance the lure of seduction. How much fear is a matter of personal taste. When I was growing up, I reacted to my kink (hypnosis) with fear that gradually changed into arousal, so now the two are very tightly connected in my mind.

#EorticMusings 21 Setting: Most fun with a creepy, spooky, or spoopy scene/setting? I'm working on a short piece about mind-controlling jack o'lanterns that cover people's heads and use them like puppets. It's a fun one to write so far. Side note: I feel the whole #hypnokink community is feeling the mind controlling pumpkin trend this season. We were inspired by a particular model's photoshoot and now I'm seeing a lot of content with that theme....

#EroticMusings Week 23 Does your (or loved ones') physical/mental health affect your work? Does your work help? I have not been diagnosed with any health issues, but that hasn't stopped a lot of people from giving me their unwanted opinion on the matter. I have bouts of social anxiety which might be caused by a form of neurodivergency. Writing is how I deal with it and find my self expression. I also suffer from occasional migraines. If that's the case, there is no writ...

@pentup In the hypnokink community, November is known as HypNovember. I suppose the two aren't mutually exclusive, but I'm sure you can guess which one I'm more excited for.

#EroticMusings 25: Does your erotica explore themes of chronic or terminal health? My curret #WIP has several characters in episodes of depression and dealing with other mental health issues. And there's a lot of scenes that deal with people's psychological health, but nothing terminal or physical. My regular smut shorts do not, mind you its fantasy, not realism, and a good few of my characters would be diagnosed as psychopathic by anyone's standards.

You can check them out here! https://readonlymind.com/@AmusCobblestone/HypNovemberCollection2025/ I meant to take it easy and keep the posts to 1000 words or less, but I get so carried away writing them that they've been stretching to about 1400 words on average. Enjoy if you dare! #hypnokink #Hypnovember #hypnovember2025 #erotica

COVER REVEAL!! Hi, Everybody! I'm working on adult romance novel to be released this month (fingers crossed). Bending under life's turmoil, two people find love and acceptance through a mutual kink. This is a lot different from my smuttier short stories and aims to show the joys that consensual hypnosis can bring as well as the pitfalls. Any impressions on the cover? (Or the title?) Feedback welcome! #BookCover #Romance #Erotica #Hypnokink #Hypnosis

#EroticMusings 29 Why are most relationship stories about beginnings? Does your erotica ever explore endings? The story I'm about to publish begins at the end of a relationship. One of the MC's, Farron, is at the end of a marriage that's run its course. After he explores his kinkier side with a non-binary partner, his wife leaves him, which opens up the path to new beginnings. So maybe that's my answer? That our endings are beginnings? I dunno.

#EroticMusings Week 33 Is creating erotica an erotic act in itself? What part, if any, does your own arousal play in creating or evaluating your work? For a long time, I tried to repress my kink (and failed miserably) So I ended up stockpiling a slew of horny fantasies in my head. Writing them out now is both liberating and cathartic. I rarely get off reading my own stuff, but writing it out usually gets me awfully hot. I evaluate my writing based on whether it gets other hypnokinksters off.

#EroticMusings Week 34 Favorite character meeting? The way my characters meet up in my current romance WIP is interesting but has major spoilers. I'm working on a prequel for some of my fantasy characters that shows their meeting. Narya, an orc, was sent to kill Dahlia, a gorgon with a gaze that petrifies. Long story short, they become steadfast lovers. To avoid accidents, Dahlia prefers to go blindfolded when hanging out with her beloved.
