@golgaloth@writing.exchange I'd like to see the Greek Gods taking on the American Gods.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange this is why the US is the hyper religious civilisation everyone is trying to escape from in The Chrysalids.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Why are traditionally Islamic countries in Europe grey? Maybe the percentages there could match the ones in US.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Fantasy? Depends on if the gods are tangible or observable in some verifiable way. Sci-fi? I prefer religion not to be a major component of societies that can see its falseness.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Is there a link to data or story?

@golgaloth@writing.exchange too much. Brainwashing children with religion should be considered child-abuse. Teach children science, build a better world.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange How influential is religion in your world? The requisite words don't exist in the language so it's hard to communicate, but if you manage to, you'll be considered psychotic and find yourself being helped out by Health Services without needing to ask. Don't worry, it's free.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange It would be interesting to see details of median level of education overlayed.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Every statistical map of the United States looks the same, just with different colors and labels.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange I kinda like that there’s not even a blue dot over the Vatican (which is, after all, a EU country).

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Among the many reasons I'm glad to be European. Does make you wonder why christian democrats and similar parties remain so powerful in Europe.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange The fuck is going on in Georgia? Did the Lord himself tour the country on a Harley?

@golgaloth@writing.exchange This map is from a scammer/influencer. I'm reasonably confident the general message is true (US way too religious), the "data" is utter bullshit.

@golgaloth@writing.exchange US is heaven, Europe is hell! 😀

How influential would I like it to be? Not at all. Not in the least. Anyone claiming morality and good behaviour stem from religion is merely outing themselves as a natural PoS. @golgaloth@writing.exchange

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Kinda curious about the map source, am I crazy, or does it have one very obvious error in Europe?

@golgaloth@writing.exchange Comic Fantasy: The Gods occasionally appear on the page. The Goddess of Death more than most. Bloody mortals, dying all over the place! British Empire with Necromancers: A clusterfuck of Gods appear towards the end, as one of the problems is a God, and what people believe about that God. YA Superheroes: The biracial MC describes her religion as "confused". And a lesbian was outed in her small town church on Christmas Day. (The homophobic pastor does get what he deserves.)

@golgaloth@writing.exchange I wonder how one who is 50.5% or 69.5% sure that GOD exists is classified? Asking for a friend! #fedihelp

@MadMike77@chaos.social @golgaloth@writing.exchange Are you telling me that an online infographic without citations is misrepresenting data? But the implications of that infographic validate my worldview!
