I'm a C#/.NET developer living on Ubuntu Linux. I don't use Windows and certainly no Apple products. I build and deploy solutions for and on MCU's, SoC's, Desktops, Servers, Mobiles, etc....For my job I spend nearly all my time inside VSCode, Godot, Blender, KdeNLive, etc...It mostly involves public transportation solutionsI like <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/synthwave" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#synthwave</a> colorsI am not a game developer And I am a dad of 4 and they will all be raised using Linux<a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/boardgamer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#boardgamer</a>

Say what you want but #jetbrains #rider is much much slower than #vscode on #linux. And I&#39;m running with 128GB ram. I don&#39;t see the benefits... sorry

Hold on to our old hardware. Don't throw out old PC's/Laptops, give them a second life with #linux Game developers: Target the #steamdeck as your performance target. #gamers: stop throwing your money at AAA game publishers. #ram production can't keep up, and it seems most of the supplies may be sold out until way into 2027 Your old, working, hardware is becoming more valuable day by day.

@Migueldeicaza are you still involved with https://gui-cs.github.io/Terminal.Gui/ because the instructions on that page don&#39;t help. It installs some v1 version and the tui-simple template is not available. Manually specifying the v2 also does not help. #dotnet #tui

I am hunting down this issue where a #godot 3.5.2 app runs flawlessly on Android for days and then just dies. No unhandled exceptions, nothing. We have the exact same application deployed on hundreds of piece of identical hardware with the exact same hardware and #android #bsp Some never crash, others crash every hour. It&#39;s driving me nuts. #godot #csharp #gdscript

I have 2 #budgies, one male, one female. The female one we found wondering in a garage and she is pretty tame. She jumps on your finger whenever you present it. Then we added a male budgie. It doesn&#39;t allow my finger to come anywhere near it and tries to escape all the time. After a while the female budgie seems to have learned she can escape as well. How do you tame a budgie, how do you get them to trust you? We took in this stray budgie and want to do everything to make it feel comfort...

The contributors of the #dotnet #nanoframework are amazing. Withing one day of me asking for support for the #esp32-p4 version &lt; 3, Adrian Soundy added support for it. Think about it for a second, you get to run applications written in C# on #ESP32 or #STM32 #mcu
