I have 2 #budgies, one male, one female. The female one we found wondering in a garage and she is pretty tame. She jumps on your finger whenever you present it. Then we added a male budgie. It doesn't allow my finger to come anywhere near it and tries to escape all the time. After a while the female budgie seems to have learned she can escape as well. How do you tame a budgie, how do you get them to trust you? We took in this stray budgie and want to do everything to make it feel comfortable
