  A week ago a reporter informed me that he "knew 1.1 million hectares" had already burned in Canada. Yesterday I noted it had all but doubled to 1.9 million hectares in a week. Today wildfires have burned 2.3 million Hectares. 400,000 more Hectares in a day. The worst year of wildfires in California was almost a million hectares. Worst year.
