@maxelcat Yes ~ I get it, on many of your points! As distressing as the news is though, it's important to keep up w/it as to how it aligns w/bible prophecy being fulfilled. In the 4 gospels, Jesus said the world would deteriorate on every level before his imminent return. THIS (Jesus' second coming) is my hope & my Christian faith is the ONLY true positive thing that keeps me going. Christians have talked about the end times for over 2000 years & now, we are here. Jesus WILL right every wrong.

@maxelcat Things with no edges. 🤔 That's something to ponder. Also struggling here. I feel similarly to you (with adjustments based on region and personal concerns) except that I bring some of this on myself, by knowingly looking at things I shouldn't look at. But I can be sure that if I don't go looking for it, it will find me. Thank you for using that expression, "the still small voice within." I've always loved it but kind of forgot about it. It seems like something I might be able to use to stay focused on the real prize.

@maxelcat Turn it all off. Try it for six hours, then twelve, then for an entire weekend. There will be others who will keep up with the world and update you later. It has been such a relief for me to take huge breaks and walk away.
