When 11th percentile grants don't get funded, I can laugh bitterly and think FUCK RFK and go back to work. This just feels like a bunch of really smart people got together and talked about it and decided, NOPE NOT YOU YOU SUCK STOP DOING THIS. I know that's not how it works I know I'm just whining now I KNOW I KNOW but just how am I supposed to go back in?

@stevegis_ssg oh gosh I'm so sorry. Here if you need someone to listen. I don't have an answer but what works for me is we hang in there out of spite, protect what we can and who we can, fight for every tiny scrap that can eventually be rebuilt from. That sounds like a lot to process at once but you will find ways to work through all of it even if it doesn't feel like it now.

@stevegis_ssg sometimes when work is the worst the best thing I can do is just show up anyway If I stayed home I would ruminate I tend to do well when I stick to routine By the end of the day even if nothing about the situation has improved I tend to go home with a shift in perspective
