When 11th percentile grants don't get funded, I can laugh bitterly and think FUCK RFK and go back to work. This just feels like a bunch of really smart people got together and talked about it and decided, NOPE NOT YOU YOU SUCK STOP DOING THIS. I know that's not how it works I know I'm just whining now I KNOW I KNOW but just how am I supposed to go back in?

@stevegis_ssg We go back in because we want to know the answer to whatever question we're currently working on. Even when everything else is going to hell in a handbasket. You aren't a terrible scientist, sometimes things just don't break your way funding-wise, which I know you know, but maybe you need to hear from someone else today. :blanketrat:

@stevegis_ssg hang in there, hang in there. I know you know this, but ✨it is not you✨. You do not suck. If you cannot go back in right now, that is ok. You know the drill.
