@ainmosni@berlin.social That's actually a fact. But there's an explanation : Mastodon is a large part of the Fedi, and its "server covenant" is pretty explicit. If you want your server to be listed on the official Mastodon website, you have to do "active moderation against racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia". @ainmosni@berlin.social Por mi parte me encuentro comodísimo con el amplio predominio izquierdista en el Fediverso, pero para que el Fediverso prospere sería conveniente mayor diversidad política. Claro que es muy difícil resultar más atractivo que las redes corporativas para el usuario políticamente conservador.

@ainmosni@berlin.social I consider the leftright wing idea very alienating as a concept. No space for diversity other than 3 big groups (one of them defined quite smudgily), lots of history that is unsolved, and much people who will not hesitate to stamp you as AfD or bolshevik fanboi if you dare to cross the mainstream thinking direction of either of the groups. (Is this a centric view?)

I'm left but I want everyone here except harassers. much of the left today considers views they disagree with and that which they consider misinfo to be so personally painful to encounter for some (or likely to lead to real world harm) such that cutting off access to it is proper for everybody. rampant defederating is justified. many on the right also want to shut down voices they don't like, but they do it via edgelordism. saying rude shit so others leave or STFU.
