And we're lucky that we don't get a lot of dog noise round here, even though people exercise dogs on the green. Most of the houses being flats, there aren't many (any?) dogs actually living here. And I don't mind a bit of child noise, during the day.. But at midnight? What are they doing even out of bed at that time?

  O diar. Mae Alfred wedi darganfod pinafal wedi sychu yn Aldi. Blas pinafal, ond gweadedd merang. Bydd hwn yn ddrud iawn. Oh dear. Alfred has discovered dried pineapple at Aldi. Pineapple flavour, but meringue texture. This will be very expensive.

  Things I am keeping from Mum's house, a continuing thread: I loved looking through this cook book when I was little. The divided pages intrigued me. I think there were maybe 2 recipes in it we used regularly, and a few more for fancy occasions. But how clever to have all your instructions for a full dinner party in sight at once.
