I’m the weirdo.
I consider myself simply an ethical humanist.
Everyone else thinks I’m further left than Lenin and Mao especially since I embrace nonviolence.

@Aphrodite@chaos.social Well, a problem with how we speak about left/right is that we make it seem like it's the only axis that matters. We also have the axes of authoritarianism vs liberalism, and progressivism vs conservatism. Many people think that left is automatically progressive and mild liberal but that doesn't have to be the case, and often isn't.

@Aphrodite@chaos.social @ainmosni@berlin.social You're not a weirdo, unless of course we both are, since I try to live an ethical humanist life too.. I think it's a stance that puts us left of centre, but as an effect rather than a choice.
