Why hide behind marketing speak and hypotheticals when we can show you what the real data says about real installations in real homes? Let's talk about the data that's here right now, not hypothetical arguments. Few energy suppliers will go out of their way to put data like this out for the public. And when the request for this transparency comes right from the top, you know you're in the right place. It's yet another reminder of why I've spent the last 4+ years at Octopus.

@robhawkes@fosstodon.org The page doesn't say how many homes/Cosys this is across.

@robhawkes@fosstodon.org appreciate the graphic but as someone on the fence about getting one it does read to me like "theres a 1 in 5 chance that you will actually be paying more for your energy after making a huge capital investment"

@robhawkes@fosstodon.org Interesting stuff, cheers. I was told by the helpdesk that Octopus don't install heatpumps in Scotland yet - is that not correct?

@robhawkes@fosstodon.org our furnace still has some life but I'm sooo excited to replace it with a heat pump once it goes. Great stuff happening with them where I'm living, they are becoming quite popular.

Always been on board with such things, but my flat is owned by a property management company that doesn't allow people to do things like heat pumps or solar 😋

@robhawkes@fosstodon.org nice to see that even with messy tech like air/water you are now getting sensible performance most of the time. Just needs this performance to be achieved on all the awful new builds by someone.
