Question for my fellow authors of series: When creating release day/marketing materials, do you feature just the first book, just the latest book, or the whole series generically? I&#39;m publishing the last book in my series tomorrow, and I&#39;m trying to decide how I want to go about it. Right now, I&#39;m leaning toward the whole series generically. Your vote and/or thoughts are appreciated! ☺️ #WritingCommunity #Writers #Writing #Author

@SJHoodlet@writing.exchange I am not one who has an entirely library. I have one book (that has not be published yet, but exists in my publication space) and then a crap ton of short stories. So My opinion may not hold water.

@SJHoodlet@writing.exchange Not good at marketing, but... when I was publishing a series, I progressed slowly, book-by-book expecting each book to take around 3 months to complete. It worked quite well (at least on Kindle) until I finished the last three in 45 days... then I screwed up by being all impatient and publishing the remaining books in one go! Whatever you decide - be way more patient than I was!

@SJHoodlet@writing.exchange I voted 'just the latest book,' but as a shopper I also want to know if it's part of a series. The Book Title, Book 4 of the XYZ Series by Author, will be available beginning 'date' at these stores/sites. If I haven't heard of the series, I now have plenty of information to search by. If I am familiar with the series, I know which book I haven't read yet.
