  #Writing Breaking Red also means updating some pictures for #SecondLife. These are the winners of the Ice Cream Bucket Challenge at Gwen & Cherry's. Two of them feature in my books. One of them nobody has met. And one more will get a cameo. Top row: Gwen and Roy (aka Sweet and Mr. Cowboy Hat) Bottom row: Aggi & Dai. Rowan also won the challenge, but refused to let them take his photo. I'm debating making one anyway.

  Things I've done in Second Life since October: Built a house I'm pleased with. Lots of landscaping, including summer and winter sets! A series of burlesque style, Christmas themed portraits - all 13 can be seen on my primfeed account!

  #PennedPossibilities 901 - What is your MC's Profession? Aggi has had many professions, most involved being outdoors. She's currently the Hall master of Antares, which is kind of like being the manager of an all inclusive resort for travelling elves. She's never done this kind of job before, so her future visitors are going to have an interesting experience.

  #PennedPossibilities 903 — MC POV: Are you afraid to be alone? Aggi doesn't mind being alone, provided she has something to do to keep her mind occupied. Being in the dark, or having minimal tactile references to ground her, is a bit of a nightmare.

  #WordWeavers Jan 24: Your MC has to start a new business with their current skills. What do they do? Rowan would hire himself out as an escort. Aggi's the new Hall Master of Antares, which is an inn/B&B for elves. Given the huge differences between her home world and the one she's in, her first task is to explain to Rowan the linguistic differences between escort, 'escort,' and bodyguard.

  I finally wrote out Game Night! I wasn't planning to, it just happened. In three days, too! 5k words. #writing https://archiveofourown.org/works/79396491 Originally it was a series of #Steampunk themed pictures with conversational captions, taken in #SecondLife and technically set there. I'm trying to make it my own universe now, which is an interesting challenge. It is Book 3 in a series, but I think it can be read on its own. I am leaving the original up as well.

  #WordWeavers 17/2/26: Would you still write if you had to use a typewriter or pen and paper? Prooobably not? I wrote a lot back in high school, in erasable pen in a spiral notebook, which was kinda painful and messy for a left hander. I switched to typing ASAP (Word Perfect for DOS!) and never looked back. I tend to rewrite a lot and find it much easier to copy and paste sections to reuse. I even have separate files I label 'note drop' where I store scrapped words that I oft...

  #PennedPossibilities 935: Writing goals for 2026? I have three stories currently in the works, I am hoping to finish at least two in 2026. Current working titles are Voidstones and Visions, The Thief Trap, and Breaking Red. What month is it? February? I might be able to do it by December. I am at least 12k into all three, and I doubt they'll end up being much more than 30k.

  Turns out I was ridiculously well stocked for a wizard's laboratory in #SecondLife . I still bought a bunch of new decor, trying to cover my style of magic in my series, which is mostly writing, music, and a little math. Right shelf is by Dreadfully Dark, desk by ChiMia, low shelf by Moonsha, other shelves by 8f8.

  #PennedPossibilities 950 — Can your MC swim? If not, why not? If so, how did they learn? Yes, all elves of the Tanrys Court are very much at home in the water. However, Aggi struggles a bit with floating after her time spent in the Void.
