Not good at marketing, but... when I was publishing a series, I progressed slowly, book-by-book expecting each book to take around 3 months to complete.
It worked quite well (at least on Kindle) until I finished the last three in 45 days... then I screwed up by being all impatient and publishing the remaining books in one go!
Whatever you decide - be way more patient than I was!

@Owen_G_Richards@writing.exchange Wow, a book every 45 days is intense! Fortunately, I’m publishing the last one (of four), so I don’t really have that issue. I was just curious which book people marketed, or if they marketed the whole series. Sounds like you did more of a hybrid approach.
