@hosford42 oh good find. Framing can be so powerful, and when it is the deciding factor in whether we see a phenomenon as a natural process or not, a strength vs weakness, or inevitable vs malleable, it can be a big deal. I try to be an empiricist about human behavior and delay assigning value because so often the value judgment obscures deeper understanding and potentially ways to adjust -- things I can actually affect. I have limited success but what successes I've had have been meaningful.

@hosford42 are they saying allistic extroverts have less empathy? That would explain a lot

@hosford42 I often want a glass of wine and a cigarette after intense socialising, even though I don't smoke at all otherwise.

@hosford42 ...im so glad someone finally said so correctly and fully what ive begged folks to understand and got isolated for cos "well since you love solitude we'll just leave you alone in exile", and nothing i said seemed to help them understand the truth. i do love human connection when it isnt toxic etm...its just, i have high empathy that folks often label as some mysterious intuition weirdness, but rly im just the one who actually paid attention, to everyone. exile is super painful, btw...
