@GeePawHill@mastodon.social Of course I chose. I am not claiming fraud or innocence. I am angry, because I wish my choice had borne only bitter fruit, rather than tempting almost tasty fruit. I think your personal morality is often more binary than mine. You would never; I would hardly ever, whatever the choice is. You seem to despise pilpul: I thrive on it. I would, and want to discuss this with you. Have wanted to for months. But we can't, really, because where you see a big black NO, I see a gradient.

    @RonJeffries@mastodon.social I'm pretty sure that "AI Overview" has stolen many tens of thousands more books about "moral choices on a gradient" than it has books about algorithms. Why, then, is it desirable to discuss these issues with me instead of it?
