Serious question: what is stopping Beshear from calling for a special election right now? Like seriously. “The people of the great state of Kentucky have been without proper representation in the senate for over a month. Since Mitch McConnell has abandoned his post as Senator I am calling a special election for his replacement immediately.” Make them PROVE he is still alive.

Has anyone in the press simply asked “is Mitch dead?” Or are they just asking for updates on his health? Like, there is no fucking update. He’s dead. These fuckers are not only depriving Kentuckians of their representation in Congress, but they’ve also deprived the rest of the country the ability to properly celebrate this asshole’s long awaited demise.
