For most of my professional life, I’ve put my art in black frames. but to celebrate a recent milestone birthday, I’m framing all future work with white frames. It’s gonna take some getting used to, but I think I’m going to like the way the white brings out the color of my paintings..I’m getting rid of the gloomy grey wall next :) open to any suggestions. Interior design is not my talent. #art #interiordesign #kentucky #mastoart #painting

@kenSwinson@indieweb.social The grey is logical, as it doesn't shift the colours of the art. If you are very brave, you could go for a metallised surface. Probably easiest as a wallpaper. Gold or bronze? Similar in effect but much more energy. Not a flat surface though. Pitted, to avoid a mirror effect.

@kenSwinson@indieweb.social I just love your original folk art style artwork. Unique and simply charming. Did you start out with clay tiles and pottery and then migrate to painting? I do prefer the white frames.
