Where are the details?" so I search startpage for it. getting real fucking tired of search engines being so ass. search for this CVE on startpage, and the engine is all like "Oh, a specific cve number?" hah, no, fuck that. let's just pull up any page that as CVE-\d{1,}-\d{1,} in it. The internet is dogshit now, and I lay the blame at the AI enthusiasts and techbros being bloodless ghouls who don't actually use any of the shit they produce.

I'm a detection engineer by trade. My job is hunting for details. I hunt for details by using search engines. If your search engine is dogshit, I can't do my job. I still get paid, but I'd like to do my job competently. How the fuck is it that these people who have been cradling AI, like it's the next big thing (tm), in spite of it falling forward on its face, proceeded immediately by shitting itself every time its asked to prove itself as viable for anything other than niche situations, keep being employed? How is it that anyone trusts them? Why is this is the industry standard?
