Are turnips really comparable to potatoes? I've never had them before. But they're being recommended as an alternative to baked potatoes.

Because when this chapter is done, I want it to be fucking done for a long time, I have to revert my SSLProxy VM snapshots, and set up PolarProxy a few times. I'm waffling between providing a cliffnotes chapter of "Here are the differences" and "Here is the step-by-step."

ran into some configuration problems this morning for my ssl decryption lab. I was getting the unencrypted requests outbound, but not the responses. I had promisc mode enabled on the interfaces where it was necessary, but had not set promisc mode for the virtual bridge in proxmox correctly. brctl setageing [bridge interface name] 0 brctl setfd [bridge interface name] 0

at some point in the past I did a #rimworld quest where I got an anti-material rifle as the quest reward. Now, normally, in the world of the dead man's switch, where I can be operating a fucking minigun, or a sniper rifle grenade launcher, or any other insane shit, the anti-material rifle is kinda "oh, that's nice. Guess I'll hold on to it.". But sometimes, you get unique rifles as a reward, and I scored a jackpot on this guy. its max range is 260 tiles. A good sniper rif...

The world was a better place when AI was limited in scope. Like, The most AI was doing pre 2020s was beating the shit out of chess grand masters, and letting niche game nerds do Tool-Assisted Speedruns as an entire subcategory of speedrunning. There might be more than that, but those are the most public examples I'm aware of. It showed us that focused datasets could do some crazy things. Then the wrong people got involved and said "What if I just feed everything it and market it as a...

took some doing, but here is proof of concept for Suricata. I wrote two rules - one looking for example.com in TLS SNI data, and another looking for it in http.host field of the HTTP header. This confirms that suricata is getting both encrypted and unencrypted traffic. #suricata #nsm #TLSDecrypt

saw this pop up in my feed. https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1wm5c21/i_am_done_with_this_shit/ and the top comment from the clanker moderator bot is fucking brutal "Yes, you're a meat proxy, deal with it."

is there a permanent way to disable firefox's "group tabs" feature? I'm getting older, and have a habit of clicking and dragging tabs ever so slightly on accident when I click between tabs, and suddenly having shit grouped for no reason is very annoying.
