Goodnight you bloody gorgeouses. You warriors of light and hope and truth. May all the good things come to you in small but meaningful ways. Little things that lift you up away from all the big nasties that dominate our world in such oppressive and toxic ways. We cannot change the tectonic plates always in motion, but we can smile at a stranger, say thank you unexpectedly (like a kindness ninja). We can choose community and support, where it's so sorely lacking. It's so easy to recognise that others around you are struggling, and lift their burden in tiny homeopathic ways. Meaningless in the movement of the universe - exploding stars and expanding galaxies, but you might make someone's day. There are universes within me, as I'm sure there are in all of you. And these things from others make life worthwhile and so I endeavour to be that change for others. I love you. You're terrific. You look great. Did you do something with your hair? I appreciate you. Also I got a message saying I might have won the powerball and if I did we're all going on holiday. There will be scuba diving and cocktails for those who want it. And for others there will be peaceful spaces to read whilst I bring you infinite sandwiches. In between I will be throwing myself around a bouncy castle listening to techno. Together we can win.
