@AkaSci@fosstodon.org I argue his point that murder and other crimes are declining...US Police murdered 703 people and the year is just half over. I say the numbers are climbing. And Americans are passively and quietly nodding in agreement when someone says , "Don't watch the video," For too long the majority of Americans (white) have been inside a "safe" little bubble where they are spoon fed reassuring pablum, don't worry, the US is the best and always right! So very wrong. #USA

@AkaSci@fosstodon.org My first impression or reaction we are a bit numb in the face of everything happening. If it’s your block your neighborhood your city it’s very different. I have a very strong reaction when I see a bunch of cops surrounding a homeless person. On one occasion, there was some guy who harmed himself, but on another occasion, they roll chasing down somebody with shields and shotguns. I don’t like cops with their guns and coffee shops. I don’t like arm guards in front of buildings.
