@ClearlyClaire@mastodon.social 🙄 Unbelievable. Using Mastodon I can vote in a poll from the latest copy of Misskey. Using Misskey I can vote in a poll from the latest copy of Mastodon. Sharkey breaks something and your solution is that Mastodon must fix something.

The ActivityStreams spec does not mandate—or specify at all, for that matter—an expiration date for a poll. https://www.w3.org/TR/activitystreams-vocabulary/#questions And it is blatantly unreasonable to interpret an absent expiration date on a poll, absent any other evidence of its having expired, as meaning “expires immediately”. So no, this is a bug in both Mastodon and Misskey. @ClearlyClaire@mastodon.social
