The ActivityStreams spec does not mandate—or specify at all, for that matter—an expiration date for a poll. https://www.w3.org/TR/activitystreams-vocabulary/#questions And it is blatantly unreasonable to interpret an absent expiration date on a poll, absent any other evidence of its having expired, as meaning “expires immediately”. So no, this is a bug in both Mastodon and Misskey. @ClearlyClaire@mastodon.social

@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org I feel like I'm dealing with crazy today. lol You have this 1 niche project that most people do not use. The polls from this small niche project are not working correctly when viewed from either Mastodon or Misskey. Meanwhile, both Mastodon and Misskey, two mainstream projects widely used by many, work just fine between one another. But the argument is somehow the issue is not with the small niche project, but with the two mainstream projects that have no issues. Someone make this make sense.
