We are getting a hose pipe ban here.
The only thing I use my hose pipe for... is filling up the water feature that the birds in my garden drink from and bathe in.
So the fucking cunts who can't stop leaks from their shitty underinvested pipeworks, and pour shit in our local rivers, now have legal mandate to dehydrate birds too. And if I dare to use my hosepipe to save these gasping birds, I am a criminal. Not they. Me.

@bloor@bloor.tw I do wonder what the legislation is on these bans. They are described as a "hose pipe ban", but does the wording of the law ban things that are not a hose pipe. I.e. if you filled a bucket from a tap in the bath and took outside to fill bird bath, is that allowed? No hose pipe, after all. And is the plumbed in water tap that pours in to my hot tub from above, to top it up, also banned, as it is not a hose pipe?
