@bloor@bloor.tw I do wonder what the legislation is on these bans. They are described as a "hose pipe ban", but does the wording of the law ban things that are not a hose pipe.
I.e. if you filled a bucket from a tap in the bath and took outside to fill bird bath, is that allowed? No hose pipe, after all.
And is the plumbed in water tap that pours in to my hot tub from above, to top it up, also banned, as it is not a hose pipe?

@revk@toot.me.uk @bloor@bloor.tw This is the legislation: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1991/56/section/76 "filling or maintaining a domestic swimming or paddling pool" is one of the things that can be banned outright, hosepipe or not.
