If you can get them, and have space, an IBC container will hold 1000L comfortably. We have 3 and will be fitting 2 more this winter. You can even buy used ones which helps.

@tempusfelix@wehavecookies.social @Janet_52square@sunny.garden Collecting rainwater is addictive. We have more than we need, even when I was growing veg, we never really got low. We've got a collection of 2nd hand blue plastic barrels and loft water tanks, joined together in series, so we can have several barrels filling from one down pipe. I think it's one of the things we'll take when we move, just to be sure we can collect as much as possible. (Wishing I could send you some spare water, Janet!)
