Fuck, I need to do copyright screaming.
Summary:
* Copyright is an approximately good idea that was immediately captured by the worst kind of ghouls.
* Creatives deserve the control and benefits of their works.
* No one needs their entire lifetime + another entire lifetime.
* Companies that enclose the commons for profit should be destroyed at the regulatory level.

Also, any corporation which uses GenAI/LLMs which cannot produce the provenance of its entire set of training data and prove that it was all created by themselves must either give up their right to any and all copyrights in perpetuity or give up GenAI/LLMs. Any corp. Any GenAI/LLMs. I don't care whether it's just creating wall textures, if you sourced it from public assets, you don't get to copyright your material. This goes for Microsoft as well.

@pathunstrom@ngmx.com Copyrights should last a few years, unless it is transferred, then it lasts months. The problem with copyright is suits.
