Android 17 has this nice feature where if you update an app (even via adb) while it's open, it'll relaunch it automatically after the update is done installing.

@grishka@mastodon.social okay you got me, it does kinda seem like Android has caught up to iOS and maybe, just maybe, is more powerful. Just sucks to see Google lockdown APK installs to known devs, but at the same time, Apple always did that.
