@grishka@mastodon.social okay you got me, it does kinda seem like Android has caught up to iOS and maybe, just maybe, is more powerful.
Just sucks to see Google lockdown APK installs to known devs, but at the same time, Apple always did that.

@dansup@mastodon.social Android has always been more powerful than iOS because of the intent system tbh. Any action that an app can perform in another app can be handled by *any* app. That's how you get replaceable launchers, dialers, SMS apps, web browsers, photo galleries, camera apps, email clients, etc.
