Oh, I often wind up saying, "I hope it's clear that I'm not angry at you. I am angry, and I am trying not to take it out on you because you're just doing your job and you didn't put these policies (or systems or whatever) into place, but they're not okay and I'm angry at them."

@stevegis_ssg@mas.to that's a good reminder. I usually try to thank the person for responding to the best of their ability and ask them to pass on feedback. But I have little confidence it goes anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if it never gets forwarded at all. So I don't end up any less frustrated, and I wonder if there's something I'm missing.

@stevegis_ssg@mas.to @iris@neuromatch.social This, and, having been in that kind of convo before, issues are often solved by reproducing them. It's the equivalent of 'have you checked whether it's plugged in?' 😡😤👿🤬😤😳😱😓 Oh sorry...yes it wasn't plugged in...
