I know I'm years late to saying this complaint (out loud) but the word "app" really has no meaning any more huh
I'm publishing a corporate Power BI report and Microsoft is trying to repackage it as an "app". Scripts are "apps". Plugins are "apps". Electron shells are "apps". Actual programs are "apps". FUCK OFF

@scrublordnito@tech.lgbt meh, it's a thing that does a thing. What did it even stand for in the first place. Application of what to what!? Like, if it's "application of computer for a task" then yeah all of those are apps. There have always been more specific words anyway.
